Rules Library

The Rules-Library is a set of pre-defined functions that can be imported for use within Decisions and Validations from the Business Rules Framework.

There are currently two available functions libraries:

EPC Functions

Character Set Validator

Validates the given string meets the EPC standards for character set and structure.

Address Identifier and Validator

These functions determine whether an address is structured, unstructured or hybrid. In case the address is invalid, the validator gives the reason it was rejected.

SEPA Zone and EEA Validator

Determines from a given country code if it is a country or territory and whether it is part of the EEA or not.

ISO Functions

Identifier Validators

Validates that the given IBAN, LEI or RF creditor reference is of the correct structure and has a valid check digit. If not, the reason for rejection is provided.

Country Code validator

Checks if the given alpha-2 country code is an officially assigned and active ISO 3166 code. If so, the short English name, alpha-3 and numeric codes for that country are returned.

Currency Code Validator

Checks if the given currency code is active and part of the ISO 4217 list. If so, the currency name, numeric code and minor units are returned.
