Validating Execution Date
The ValidateExecutionDate API checks if a given date is valid for processing a payment. It rejects dates that are in the past, after the cut-off time, or not business days. If the date is valid, the execution date is used to calculate the settlement date. The settlement date = execution date + settlement lead days. The execution and settlement dates are both returned in the response.
