Ops Dashboard Installation

Installing Angular CLI

Install the CLI using the npm package manager:

npm install -g @angular/cli

Generate project

Generate the new project by running the following command from the schematics folder:

ng new --collection="." --dry-run

You’ll be prompted to enter your project name and multi-select which IPF modules you wish to install.

Update your .npmrc to work with yarn.

Open your .npmrc and make sure you have the extra lines below with the relevant auth token supplied.

@iconsolutions:registry=https://nexus.ipf.iconsolutions.com/repository/ipf-npm/
//nexus.ipf.iconsolutions.com/repository/:_authToken={AuthToken}
//nexus.ipf.iconsolutions.com/repository/ipf-npm/:_authToken={AuthToken}

To create, build, and serve the new application, go to the parent directory of your new workspace use the following commands:

ng new --collection="." my-first-project
cd my-first-project
ng serve

Example of creating a new project from a sibling folder:

ng new --collection="../ops-gui-framework/schematics" my-first-project
cd my-first-project
ng serve

In your browser, open localhost:4200/ to see the new application run. When you use the ng serve command to build an application and serve it locally, the server automatically rebuilds the application and reloads the page when you change any of the source files.

Customising your application

Adding roles for routes

Navigate to my-first-project/src/app/app.module.ts and add the roles to the required roots. Example:

    const routes: Routes = [{
        path: 'ods',
        loadChildren: () => import('@iconsolutions/ods').then((m) => m.OdsSearchModule),
        data: { roles: ['ROLE_PAYMENT'] }
    }]

This will add the 'ROLE_PAYMENT' role to the ods module.
