Dynamic Processing Settings v2
A Dynamic Processing Setting (DPS) is an IPF framework concept for dynamically updatable configurations used in the processing of payments workflows. It enables payment flows to retrieve relevant settings and map them to Processing Data Structures (PDS) so that they can be used in subsequent steps of the payment journey. This allows for the creation of reusable payment flows that adapt to the specific settings of the processing entity. Business functions can directly access DPS data to execute tasks and return results to payment flows. They can be deployed within the same service or separately. Setting updates can be applied instantly or scheduled without requiring application restarts. DPS is supported by APIs for configuration, retrieval, and management through the IPF GUI or external applications.
